To understand health, disease, microbiome and medicinal plants, we will need to generate high-throughput laboratory data such as genomics, proteomics, transcriptomics, microbiome or metagenomes. Generating high quality “OMICS” data is much easy these days with the democratization of Next-generation sequencing capabilities through numerous accredited laboratories nationally. Jeeva has partnership with numerous laboratories to generate the right volume and kind of OMICS data and other relevant datasets.
Once data is generated, it needs to be organized, integrated and standardized to enable predictive analytics and insights. Jeeva team utilizes the open source or commercial tools, databases and algorithms with domain knowledge and subject matter expertise in healthcare and life sciences. Traditional approaches will require ETL (extract, transform, load) processes for structured data. For unstructured data processing, text mining and natural language processing tools will be necessary. Advanced statistics, analysis and machine learning algorithms are applied for downstream insights.
